Fruity and sweet 4 ingredients mango pancake for your BLW baby and toddler
Happy Friday! Another pancake I made for my BLW baby this week. This time I’m using the king of fruit – MANGO 🥭 to make the pancake. I have never try pancake with mango before and I must say it taste really good. The pancake texture is soft and fruity, deliciously fills with natural sweetness from the mango.
This 4 ingredients mango pancake is easy and fast to prepare. It is a perfect and healthy breakfast choice for your children. This recipe only takes 10 minutes to make, I’m sure it is faster than dress your child 😅
Ingredient 1 : Mango
I used frozen mango to make the puree as fresh mango are not currently in season. If you are living in a tropical country where you can get fresh mango all years round, use the fresh one.
Ingredient 2 : Banana
Ripe banana is the key ingredient to bring out the sweetness of the pancake.
Ingredient 3 : Yogurt
I use organic yogurt as a milk substitution for a smoother and creamier texture
Ingredient 4 : Self-raising flour
As self-raising flour contains salt and baking powder, it helps with create a more fluffier pancake.
|Preparation time : 5 minutes||Cooking time : 5 minutes||Serving : 20 mini pancakes|
|– 1 cup/ 250ml mango, cubed |
– 1 ripe banana, sliced
– 70g plain yogurt
– 1/4 cup/ 60ml self-raising flour
- Add mango, banana and yogurt in a blender or hand mixer and blend until fine and smooth. Sifted in self-raising flour and stir until it well incorporated
- Pour pancake batter onto a hot pan on medium heat, when you see bubble on the top, flip the pancake over. Each side should take around 2 minutes to cook.
- Serve with extra mango and fruits, you can drizzle some honey or maple syrup for older children.
Notes: Baby under one cannot consume honey!
